Mission Statement
Ecological Rehab Of America, Inc. is an organization that has been created to work with the local community in an effort to organize and conduct community clean up projects. We will also be providing educational seminars and events which explain the importance of preserving our natural resources and reducing the amount of contaminants we release into the environment.

We are seeking Federal, State and Community Grants along with Charitable Contributions to put to use by partnering with communities to clean up and maintain public areas.
We are located in Wayne County, Michigan.
The current Project in being put together to focus on petroleum products the flow into the Clinton River from road run off the travels through the storm drains and bridge over passes.
Our Mission Narrative
Ecological Rehab of America, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to cleaning up the environment and preserving our environment for the benefit of future generations. We will be accomplishing these goals by organizing community cleanup efforts and also holding educational programs on the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment. Through our organization's programs and activities we would like to improve the quality of life for all living organisms by removing contaminants and restoring natural environments to their natural state.
At this time, while our organization is new, we will be organizing small scale local cleanup projects. In order to successfully carry out these projects we will be using the assistance of volunteers who share a common interested in preserving our environment. This cleanup up projects can include, but are not limited to, cleanup days at local parks, beaches, rivers and other community space. We will select projects based on the funds we have available and the proximity to our community. We will also be working with the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality to identify areas that are in need of cleanup. As an organization we will be organizing these activities as well as providing basic cleanup materials such as trash bags, gloves, shovels and other tools. We will also be bringing in dumpsters and other trash receptacles to collect the items we have picked up and properly dispose of it. Whenever possible we will be recycling the items we have collected so that they can be reused and do not end up in a landfill or dump polluting another location.
As our organization grows and our funding increases we will be undertaking larger cleanup projects. For some of these larger scale projects we will need to bring in professionals to perform excavation, dredging and other services. Whenever we need to hire a company to perform these services we will be opening the job up to the bid process and seeking at least 3 bids . We will then go with the company that can do the job for the lowest rate. At no time will we hire or contract an organization that has any relationship with our organization or anyone serving on our board of directors.
Ecological Rehab of America, Inc. will also be organizing and hosting educational programs that focus on the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment. These programs will serve as a tool for generating awareness of issues in the environment and ways to prevent future issues. We will also talk about topics such as the proper use of items such as fertilizers, which if used improperly can be harmful. Other topics will include how to dispose of certain items which pose a greater risk to the environment as well as new and innovative approaches to recycling and reducing waste. During these events the community will have the opportunity to ask questions of experts in the field and collect information which will allow them to be more informed and better care for their local environment.
